Gambardella Stelvio.

Born in Naples on March 12th 1977. Presently: student at the University of Suor Orsola Benincasa, undergoing studies in the faculty of the conservation for Cultural Heritage. Graduated from the G. P. Vico high school in Naples in Linguistics. Coordinator for the younger group of the art movement called Exasperatism with headquarters in “Centro D’arte il Bidone” Naples.

At four years old I exhibited my first artwork at the International Cartoon Exhibition at the Mostra D’Oltremare in Naples.

In the last few years, I have had the possibility to identify my pictorial creativity thanks to my adhesion to the Art Movement Exasperatism which allows me to express the social uneasiness which the today’s world is confronted with but yet leaving me with the freedom of expressing myself with my own personal style.

Lately, I am in search of a bridge that unites a kind of decorative baroque with the informal bound to a figure on a naturalistic level, which is almost always at the centre of all my inspirations.

It is fundamental for me to “self study” the anatomy of the human body, not having ever attended art institutes and the spasmodic attempt to always reach a chromatic equilibrium that gives the spectator a linear idea of the realty put forth by me on canvas.
